9 Luxury Apartments

4D Architects Studio were approached in early 2021 by a client who had a scheme for 9 luxury flats that benefitted from a full planning approval (obtained by others).  We were appointed to undertake building regulations and construction drawings with the intention that work would commence on site in the summer.

The complex scheme contains a partially sub-terrain basement/ car park which is retained with a series on concrete contiguous piles.  The entire basement is constructed in robust in-situ concrete and waterproofed to building control and the warranty providers requirements.  Above the concrete basement structure is a 3 storey timber frame forming the 9 luxury apartments.

The apartments are spacious, all have their own balconies and offer far reaching views over the picturesque Fistral Beach in Newquay.  Work commenced on time in July 2021 and the site is due for completion late 2022.
